Siggraph

I just got back from Siggraph it was held this year in New Orleans. Lots of awesome presentations including Up's camera/3D plan and talks about their short Partly Cloudy. The people at Pixar are amazingly intentional in every part of their production. They seem to have the best grasp on what 3D can offer cg movies. When I wasn't in a meeting I loaded up on schwag at the booths and roamed Bourbon street at night. The city has rebounded from Katrina for the most part but there are a few boarded up houses. It was definitely a good time and Ill be going next year when its back in LA.

So I am back at Curious, hard at work on a new game from the makers of RockBand2. Its a rockbandish game except with nothing but Beatles songs.. I am working on the facial animation for the band members. Its a good time for sure!
